Mott MacDonald contracted DoorZigt among other projects for the resignalling metro Rotterdam. In 2006 the Functional Requirements have been composed. Thereafter the process of procurement started. In December 2006 the tender dossier is presented to seven suppliers, that passed the pre-qualification. In April 2007 six suppliers presented their offers.
After evaluation RET selected GE as the supplier for this project.
In 2009 DoorZigt provided for the strategic study Criteria for Core Network & Branch Lines for Transnet, the South-African railways, under contract with Mott MacDonald South Africa.
In 2010 DoorZigt participated in the technical feasibility study for the revitalisation of the railway line Nijmegen - Kleve - Weeze Airport.
From 2012 till 2017 a number of assignments by Bestuur Regio Utrecht (now: Province of Utrecht) concerning the Utrecht Regional Tram System have been realised. Furthermore DoorZigt B.V. contributes to ISA/NoBo projects for ProRail.
